Greetings, star souls . . .

Hi everyone. My name is Josh DuJordan, and I'm the creator here at Starhelm Studios.

Ever since I was little, I've had a fascination about space, and wondered what it might be like with humans living on other worlds. I promised myself that one day, I would find the means to tell stories detailing futures like this, in the hopes that it would inspire others to share in that same fascination and excitement about the future. It's a difficult road ahead, but with your help, and the help of our mysterious friend the Starhelmsman, I know we can make something incredible. Thanks for joining along on this journey.

Animation

This month our first animated short film, "Fire! Fire!" is premiering at the Animation Chico festival! We've got a countdown going on our animation page above, and we're just waiting impatiently for it to reach zero so you can see it! It will be uploaded on that day to our YouTube channel as well!

Board Games

We are currently developing two games. One is a competitive game for 2 players that involves tile-laying. The other is a 4 player strategy game where you'll battle for control of a mysterious world. You can find out more about it on boardgamegeek.

Comics

Our first comic "Galaxy Goodbyes" is being prepared for a physical print on kickstarter! This edition features some new art and slight twists in the narrative that make it slightly different experience from the original, available to read for free right now on Webtoons!

As you can see, we're pretty busy! And by "we" I mean "I." Currently I'm the only one running this whole thing. Maybe it won't be that way forever though. The future is full of many possibilities . . . stay tuned.

Strange Anomalies

We've been getting some odd transmissions on our YouTube channel's discussion section. Whoever is sending them doesn't seem to know much about coding. What is this "Alyx"? Who is trying to get through to us? Why won't they engage in conversation directly with us? Perhaps one of you is brave enough to find out what they want?
